Professional background
Dr Vinod Chopra is a Specialist Adult Psychiatrist. He completed his training in India and has been working as a consultant Psychiatrist in Australia since 2003.
He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
He speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. He has worked in New Zealand, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and ACT both in public and private sectors. Throughout his career Dr Chopra has published many research papers, he is a member of a Psychiatric Peer Review Group and has experience working with Indigenous Australians.
Dr Chopra has a special interest in Mood disorders, especially chronic and resistant depression and bipolar disorders.
