Professional background
Dr Verere Bateren is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with over 10 years’ experience in psychiatry, training in Sydney’s North Shore.
She is a general adult psychiatrist with experience in treatment resistant depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, complex PTSD, traumatic disorders as well as women’s mental health. She is available to provide psychological interventions including psychodynamic psychotherapy and trauma informed internal family systems therapy.
Dr Bateren’s culturally sensitive and trauma-informed approach endeavours to collaborate with clients and health care professionals to promote clarity, self-determination and recovery.
