Dr Rajeev Kumar MBBS, MD, DPM, FRANZCP, PhD is a senior consultation-liaison psychiatrist with a special interest in neuropsychiatry. He has been an academic psychiatrist since 2000 and worked in ACT Mental Health and the Australian National University. He has extensive clinical experience spanning over 25 years in Australia and overseas. He is well known for his research in the field of neurocognitive disorders and has published widely.

He completed a PhD in neuropsychiatry of mild cognitive impairment (early dementia) at the Australian National University under the mentorships of Prof Anthony F Jorm, Perminder Sachdev, Helen Christensen, and Kaaren Anstey. Dr Kumar has been the recipient of several national and international awards, including the most prestigious Organon Young Psychiatrist Award by the RANZCP and the International Investigator Award by the International College of Psychneuropharmacology.
